Snježana Petković
Snježana Petković was born in 1958 in Ruma, Republic of Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Banja Luka, while she passed the bar exam in 1986 in Sarajevo.
She started her professional career as a trainee lawyer in 1985.
In the period from 1986 to 1989, she performed the duties of the president of the Commission for presenting data for inspection at the Municipal Administration for Geodetic Affairs and Real Estate Cadastre in Banja Luka.
She performed the duties of a misdemeanor judge in the Banja Luka Misdemeanor Court from 1989 to 1992.
She was appointed to the position of Deputy Public Prosecutor of the Banja Luka Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in 1992 and held that position until 2004.
By the decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, she was appointed as a prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office of Banja Luka in March 2004, and she performed these duties until January 2017, after which she was appointed as a prosecutor of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republika Srpska - Special Department for Suppression of Corruption, organized and the most serious forms of economic crime.
She was appointed as a member of the HJPC of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first term in June 2004 and held that position until June 2008.
By the decision of the Board of Prosecutors of the General and Special Departments of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Srpska, she was elected as a member of the HJPC of Bosnia and Herzegovina from among the prosecutors of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Srpska in August 2021.
